Separate required course assignments from optional extra practice

A course can contain more material than every learner is expected to complete. Before comparing its workload, separate the required assignments from optional reading, bonus exercises and extension projects. Ask which tasks must be submitted to continue, which receive feedback and which are available for independent exploration. A long resource list does not explain these distinctions. Mark the core sequence on a sample module so you can see what an ordinary week would actually require before adding extra activities.

Explore Russian-language course options through KGAM, then confirm those expectations with the school. Ask whether optional exercises become necessary for a later assignment, and whether an unfinished bonus task affects access to the next module. Check how deadlines apply to each type of work. Optional material can be useful when it develops a relevant interest, but its place should be clear. This gives you a practical basis for comparing courses without treating every linked article or additional video as a compulsory commitment.
